Hello all. Sounds like the MESO group is doing something very worthwhile. I have shaky (car tripod) video of the entire life of this tornado. It was my closest, most clear view of a tornado yet. Text book developing clear slot that wrapped around and then killed the tornado, but it was on the ground for some time, was almost always in view, and highlights what has been a disappointing chase season up till now. Anyway, the point is, I will be sending what I can in an effort to help these people. I hope some of the others (there were several) on this storm will do the same. We took, now we can give back. It's interesting that the MESO author used the words Silver Lining, as there was a tour group around this storm that goes by the same name.

Allan, Just finished viewing your great home page. You and your group seem to really appreciate storms as we at SPC do. Glad I had the opportunity to provide a quick tour of our confined operations. You can reach me at jhales@mailcity.com. If you are interested you can check out www.Hales.net, as it is our family home page which includes some shots of weather gone by, including May 3rd damage.

Dear Dad, I really liked your storm chasing pictures. Mom said we might get to go with you next year.
With all my love,
Just finished looking at the pics through day 13. Almost feel like I came along for the ride! Some spectacular clouds, cells. I feel the thrill. Cool that you visited the storm center in Norman. Especially like the pic of the cow on the hill with the storm brewing in the background. Helpless potential victim. Weather forecast for your area looks like you might have something brewing tonite/tomorrow. Good luck to all.

I visited your web site and was aghast for several minutes, the work you that you all do is one of a labor of love - there is just no way else to even comprehend it. I've had a corner in my heart where I've felt that it would be great to do, and I've looked in the mirror and asked, could I do it? The answer is I don't think so.... So I further applaud you and your team for providing such value to all of our lives in trying to understand something so fundamental and so dangerous. It begs to take up the fight for you and get some kind of federal funding for what you do. The reason for this e-mail is to find out how I could have you or your team speak at my step-son's school in Plano, Texas?
Thank You!
